1 Dead, 3 Injured In Chester Shooting

Police investigating possible connection to Blackwell shooting

One woman was killed and three people were hospitalized after a shooting in Chester early Sunday morning.

Police say that the shooting took place near the J&S Seafood location at 823 Concord Avenue at around 3 a.m. Sunday. Initially, three victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. A fourth victim was found behind the restaurant suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A 22-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other three victims were transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Their identities and the condition of their injuries are not known at this time.
