A man was killed and a woman injured in two separate shootings in Philadelphia Sunday.
A 27-year-old man was shot twice in the chest around 1:40 p.m. on a basketball court located at 800 North 8th Street in Port Richmond. Police say the man walked to 8th and Poplar Street where he collapsed. He was pronounced at Hahnemann Hospital a short time later. No arrests were made.
A 48-year-old woman is in critical but stable condition after she was shot three times on the 3400 block of Crystal Street in Kensington. She sustained injuries to her right ear, shoulder, and abdomen, according to police. No arrests were made in the shooting.
