1 Arrested After Car Hits Convenience Store

Accident happened at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday

One person has been charged with driving under the influence after a car crashed into a convenience store early Saturday morning.

Police say the car slammed into a Wawa convenience store at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Levick Street in Northeast Philadelphia at around 3:30 a.m. No one inside the store was injured, but the driver was taken to Aria Hospital in Torresdale with minor injuries.
