“Desperate” Phils Fan Offers Sex for Tix: Cops

Woman's lawyer calls charges "bizarre"

People will do all sorts of things to see the World Series, including hooking -- at least that was the case for one local woman.

Susan Finkelstein allegedly offered sex for World Series tickets on Craigslist, said the cops who busted her gig.

It all started with an innuendo-ladened posting titled “DESPERATE BLONDE NEEDS WS TIX (Philadelphia):”

“Diehard Phillies fan -- gorgeous tall buxom blonde -- in desperate need of two World Series tickets. Price negotiable -- I'm the creative type! Maybe we can help each other!”

The short post was signed “S.”

How creative would she get to grab a pair of tix? She was allegedly desperate enough to offer sex, said Bensalem Police.

The 43-year-old Philadelphia woman solicited an undercover Bensalem cop to perform various sex acts in exchange for tickets to see the Phillies play the Yankees at Citizens Bank Park, said police.

She was charged with soliciting prostitution and related offenses. She will receive a court summons via mail, said authorities.

A post on what appeared to be her Facebook page did shed some light on her thoughts. Finkelstein "is wondering about the integrity of our 'police,'" posted the user. We couldn't confirm if this was her Facebook page, but it did contain info linking to the accused woman.

Finkelstein's a married, hard-working, die-hard Phillies fan, according to her attorney -- not a woman soliciting sex for World Series tickets.

The charges against Finkelstein were "bizarre" and the cops were "overzealous" in their investigation, said her lawyer William Brennan.
