She completed a general surgery residency at  Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven; a plastic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA; and a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA

Dr. Jarrett has an interest in congenital hand differences, hand/wrist/forearm fractures, tendon injuries, arthritis of the hand, pediatric hand injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, lower extremity reconstruction, and general reconstructive plastic surgery.
