Did you know more than half of all Americans use the internet to get health information?
But only five percent used email to communicate with their doctors.
The survey by the National Centre for Health Statistics questioned more than 7,000 people between the ages of 18 and 64.
The research shows women were more likely than men to use the internet for health information and were also more likely to use online chat groups to find out about health topics.
