    Dr. Andrew Newman is board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Cooper University Health Care and a part of the Janet Knowles Breast Cancer Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. His special interest in breast reconstruction including DIEP flaps and implant reconstruction has helped numerous women who have undergone breast surgery due to cancer.

    Dr. Newman received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA completed his general surgery training at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia PA and his fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia PA.

    He has been published in the Annals of Surgical Oncology and The Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Newman has given numerous professional and patients education talks and presentations on various topics in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

    Catherine E. Loveland-Jones, MD, MS

    Breast Surgeon

    Cooper University Health Care 

    Dr. Loveland Jones is a board-certified breast surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper and the Janet Knowles Breast Cancer Center. Dr. Loveland-Jones cares for women with breast cancer and benign breast disease. Her special interest include advanced tissue-sparing breast surgery, lymph node surgery and sentinel node biopsies as well as breast cancer risk assessment counseling and monitoring.

     Dr. Loveland Jones received her medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and general surgery training at Temple University Hospital, both in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her fellowship in Surgical Breast Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

    She has been a recipient of the Corynne S. Uhl Award for Compassionate and Excellent Care in Breast Surgical Oncology by MD Anderson Cancer Center.
