Phillip A. Koren, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist who has been practicing in southern New Jersey since 1991. Dr. Koren is the Medical Director of the Cooper Heart Institute and the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Services for Cooper University Hospital. Dr. Koren is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiographers and Interventions. Dr. Koren completed his Internal Medicine residency at The Medical College of Pennsylvania, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Fellowship at Presbyterian University of Penn Medical Center, where he also served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. His areas of specialty include interventional cardiology, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, and consultative cardiology. Dr. Koren has worked at numerous institutions over the years in and around Philadelphia. Formerly, he is also a founding partner of The Cardiovascular Associates of the Delaware Valley/Heart House, where he served as Managing Partner and President from 2005 to 2008. Dr. Koren has served on numerous charity boards and has been involved in local community organizations over the years.

Michael Rosenbloom MD, FACS, FACC, FACCPis the Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Cooper University Hospital and has directed the program for the past ten years. He has pioneered techniques of minimally invasive heart surgery in the Delaware Valley. Dr. Rosenbloom received his medical degree and completed his general surgery training from New York University School of Medicine. He trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis and remained on the faculty of Barnes Hospital as an adult cardiac surgeon specializing in mitral valve repair, aortic surgery, and cardiac transplantation. Dr. Rosenbloom is Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Cardiology, and American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Rosenbloom is the Co-Director of the Cooper Heart Institute. His areas of special interest include minimally invasive valve surgery, mitral valve repair, and surgical ablation of atrial fibrillation (Maze procedure). As a leader in the field, Dr. Rosenbloom prides himself on the superior patient outcomes that are achieved at the Cooper Heart Institute, in addition to the devoted team of cardiac care specialists who work collaboratively to deliver world-class patient care.
