Bad news for 27 year olds out there (myself included) -- you're mind is going caput, according to a new study.
People reach their top mental abilities at age 22, according to a report that appeared in the latest issue of the "Neurobiology of Aging."
Brain speed, memorization of patterns and other memory skills peak in the early 20's for most people, said researchers at the University of Virginia.
Then poof -- we hit 27 and brain ability begins to decline.
Don't fret -- the decline is slight and hardly noticeable in regular life. And, with age comes experience and knowledge that are always increasing.
Now where did I leave my keys?
