While other companies may be struggling to stay in business, one department store giant has managed to expand. Wal-Mart is opening a new store in Deptford, N.J. and they need to hire about 550 new workers.
“We are excited to add this Wal-Mart to Deptford and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area,” said Bill Riiff, store manager.
Both full-time and part-time positions were available. Associates for all areas of the store were needed including supervisors.
Most jobs start in May to allow enough time to get ready for the grand opening this summer.
Wal-Mart offers health care insurance and 401(k) plans. Plus, employees get sweet discounts.
The Wal-Mart Hiring Center opens Wednesday and accepts applications Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Center is located at 429 South Evergreen Ave. Woodbury, N.J.
