Parent of Bala Cynwyd insurer loses $120M in 4Q

United America Indemnity Ltd., which employs about 300 at insurance operations in Bala Cynwyd, lost $120.4 million, or $3.83 per share, in the fourth quarter, compared with a profit of $26.4 million, or 71 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2007.
