Harry Gross: To control your estate, be sure to draw up a will

Dear Harry: I am 66, and I remarried about three years ago. My husband has credit cards in his name alone that he had long before we got married. He also has a home in his name alone. I have no idea how much he owes on credit cards or on a mortgage. If he dies, can his creditors come to me for those debts? My home is in my name alone. Would it go directly to him if I die first?
