Madonna Opens Tour in Philly

Material Girl to kick off 2012 North American tour in Philly

Fresh off her Super bowl half-time performance, Madonna is set to tour. What better way to follow up a Super Bowl extravaganza then to start a North American tour right here in the city of Brotherly Love.

Madonnaโ€™s 2012 World Tour kicks off in May in Tel Aviv, Israel and weaves its way around the Middle East and Europe before she returns to America in August.

The first show back in the States will be at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday, Aug. 28. It will mark the first time in nearly four years that the Material Girl will play Philly. She last played the then-Wachovia Center in November of 2008.

Tickets for the show start at $45 (not including fees) and go up to $355.

An exclusive presale for tickets for Citi Card members begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. Tickets for the general public go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at ComcastTix.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200 or at the areaโ€™s box office.

And if you canโ€™t get tickets to the Philly show you can check out Madonna Sept. 15 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Tickets for that show go on sale Feb. 21 for club members and Feb. 27 for the general public. Tickets to the A.C. show range from $96.85 to $386.15 with fees.
