Two nonprofits announced on Monday that they have merged to form one organization.
The Fairmount Park Conservancy and the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust have merged and will go by the name Fairmount Park Conservancy.
The newly merged organization will have an annual operating budget of about $2 million and a staff of 16 people. The staff from both organizations remains employed, with no positions lost during the merging process.
