Since it opened in February, East Passyunk Avenue’s only burger joint P’unk Burger has sold more than 10,000 burgers, according to co-owner Marlo Dilks, but the restaurant has had to make a few tweaks to its operations due to customer feedback.
“We evolved the concept,” Dilks said. “We evolved and tweaked it in a few different ways to meet customers and what they were saying to us.”
The restaurant was strictly counter service when it opened, but customers “wanted to be waited on and wanted the dining room feel,” Dilks said, so P’unk is now a full-service restaurant, where customers must wait to be seated.
