Philadelphia Flower Show Showcases National Parks for 2016 Event

The Philadelphia Flower Show will be celebrating the National Park Service's centennial during next year's show.

Officials of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Independence National Historical Park on Tuesday announced next year's show, Explore America, which will be held on March 5-13, 2016.

"The 2016 Flower Show will take its inspiration from some of the most unforgettable places in America, from Independence to Shenandoah ... and many of the other 408 National Park sites around the country," said Sam Lemheney, chief of show and events at PHS. "Our designers will tell their story of America's best idea of the National Park Service."
