NoMoCab, No Mo' Problems

NoMoCab, a ride-sharing app that's free to all passengers, will launch this afternoon with 50 cars in Philadelphia for 1,000 beta users, mostly around college campuses, according to the founder of the nascent company.

The app, which is targeting college students to start, will be available citywide before the end of October, said Raj Singh, a Philadelphia entrepreneur who came up with the idea for NoMoCab 40 days ago.

Its investors, based in San Francisco, are currently undisclosed, Singh said. In addition to this capital, NoMoCab is launching crowdfunding campaigns on two sites, Crowdfunder and Indiegogo, Wednesday.
