Einstein Healthcare Network has formed a long-term alliance with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia under which their clinicians will work together to provide neonatal, newborn, maternal care, and pediatric emergency services to its Montgomery County campus.
Financial terms of the deal, which will enable Einstein to expand the obstetrical and pediatric services it provides at its Einstein Medical Center Montgomery campus in East Norritown, Pa., were not disclosed.
Einstein will continue to provide obstetrical and pediatric services at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where it is one of just six acute care hospitals in the city delivering babies. CHOP also operates the Garbose Family Special Delivery Unit, which attract patients globally, for mothers carrying babies with serious and life-threatening birth defects.
