Campbell Soup Cut 250 Jobs

Campbell Soup Co. said it has eliminated 250 salaried jobs over the past two quarters.

The Camden, N.J. headquarters did see jobs get cut but a company spokesperson declined to say how many.

The move is part of a restructuring and streamlining operation aimed at helping the company cope with declines in sales of its soups and beverages.

The company suffered a 30 percent drop in quarterly profit, the spokesperson said. Read more about this story on PBJ.com
