Bottom Line: Cinderella's Closet

The price of prom is a headache for parent's every year.

Even though the economy continues to take a nosedive… the cost for dresses and limos get more extreme.

Resourceful teenagers aren't letting the struggling economy put a damper on their junior prom.

They've created “Cinderella's Closet”, making it fun and affordable to get dressed up for the big night.

Keri Richards and Alyssa Slemmer, juniors at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills, came up with the idea.

They talked businesses into donating high-dollar prom gowns and accessories that they could mark down and sell in their new "Cinderella's Closet.”

The money goes to Conwell-Egan's tuition assistance program…and the girls get a bargain.

"I ended up getting a dress that was originally $350 and I got it for $75… so it was a pretty good deal!” according to Julia Schmitz, a student at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School.
