SEPTA will sell a limited number of its Key Cards — a farecard system meant to replace the current tokens and tickets used on the transit agency's system — after 10,000 customers snapped them all up last month.
The transit agency in June launched its SEPTA Key Early Adopters program, where up to 10,000 riders were able to get an instant SEPTA Key Card with their purchase of a weekly or monthly transit pass, which are valid for travel on subway lines, city and suburban bus routes and trolleys.
SEPTA will expand the Early Adopters program next month.
