Roadway closed after truck brings down wire, authorities say

Downed wires caused authorities to close Route 70 in Burlington County Thursday morning.

A passing truck possibly caused a wire to fall across both lanes of the roadway between Palmetto Avenue and Plymouth Drive in Evesham Township, county authorities told NBC10.

Chopper10 arrived on the scene a little before non to find a wire stretched across the entire roadway.

No injuries were reported.

Delays remained in both directions as of 12:10 p.m.
