UPS Driver Robbed While Making Deliveries

A UPS worker going about his daily deliveries Wednesday morning got quite the scare.

Two men barged into the truck, attacked the driver and robbed him at gunpoint around 11:45 in the area of 7th and Engle Streets, according to Chester Police.

The driver was allegedly told to drive to Front and Bunting Streets where other men were waiting, cops said.

The alleged thieves took packages from the truck and loaded them into an SUV, cops said.

No color of the vehicle was given and unfortunately no license plates were visible, cops said.

And no descriptions of the alleged thieves were released.

Luckily the driver wasn’t hurt.

Anyone with info on this robbery should call Chester Police Detective James Nolan at (610) 447-8429.
