After being closed for several hours on one of the busiest travel days of the year, southbound lanes on I-476 have finally reopened.

Crews responded to a tractor trailer filled with french fries that caught fire on I-476 near Radnor earlier today. I-476 blue route southbound was closed at US30/Exit 13.

Around 11 p.m., PennDOT announced southbound lanes have reopened in that area.

Officials still have not yet released information on the cause or any injuries.
