Pickup, Car Collide, 1 Hurt

A traffic mess greeted commuters in Bucks County this morning.

Part of U.S. Route 1 southbound was closed after a pickup truck and sedan collided around 8 a.m. in Middletown Township, Pa.

The highway was closed from Neshaminy Creek to Maple Avenue as crews worked to clear the crash.

At least one person was hurt. His or her condition wasn't revealed.

All southbound lanes were closed and crews blocked one lane of northbound traffic for a short period as well.

About an hour after the crash, crews had the damaged vehicles moved off to the shoulder and one lane began to get by southbound.

A short time later the roadway was reopened.
