Double shooting leaves pregnant woman, man hurt

A pregnant woman was shot Tuesday night while visiting friends in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.

Shots rang out around 9:15 p.m. on 1600 block of N 60th Street hitting a pregnant woman and a man who were sitting on a friend's front porch, according to Philadelphia Police.

The 20-year-old woman, who is seven months pregnant, was shot once in the left side. She was taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania where she was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning, cops said

Her child is expected to be OK, police said.

The 20-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his back and was shot in the calf, police said. After being his he stumbled up to the 5900 block of Lansdowne Avenue, cops said.

He was listed in stable condition at HUP Wednesday morning, police said.

The two victims were visiting friends living in the home where the shooting happened. Seven people were inside at the time of the crime, according to cops.

The motive was an argument, authorities said.

No arrests have been made in the case.
