Police Rule Fatal Delaware Fire as Arson

A Delaware City fire that killed a young mother and her two children back in October has been ruled as arson, according to investigators.

The fire happened Monday, Oct. 4 shortly before 6 a.m. on the 100 block of Clinton Street.

The three victims were 19-year-old Tyana Watts and her two children, a three-year-old girl and an eight-month-old girl.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently undergoing a criminal investigation.

All callers will remain anonymous and Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward.
