A North Philadelphia boy was in very critical condition Monday night after being caught in a house fire.
The blaze broke out around 10 on the 1800 block of N 27th Street. Firefighters found the boy in the home and began performing CPR, according to officials.
The boy was taken to Temple Hospital.
No one else was injured in the fire.
It took firefighters less than a half an hour to control the flames.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
