Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding With School Bus

No kids on board are hurt

A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon after a crash involving a Bucks County school bus that was taking kids home from school.

Police say the motorcyclist collided with the school bus at the intersection of Belmont Drive and Limekiln Pike (Pa. 152) in Warrington, Pa.

The bus, which was driven by 51-year-old Patricia Staman, was turning left onto Belmont Drive when a motorcycle operated by Justin Landis of North Wales, Pa. collided with the right side of the bus near the door, according to Warrington Police.

Landis, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

None of the kids on the bus were injured, police said.

Limekiln Pike was closed four about four hours as police investigated.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Thursday night.
