Flames shoot high into the night air from 2-alarm blaze

A two-alarm house fire broke out in a small Montgomery County town Thursday night.

A house on the 2500 block of Bean Road in Worcester Township erupted in flames just after 9.

Flames could be seen shooting high into the sky as firefighters tried to control the blaze. The house eventually collapsed.

By 10:20 the fire was under control, said officials.

There were reports that the home possibly exploded but details remained unclear, said Montgomery County dispatch.

Luckily no one was hurt.
