FBI Searches Trenton Mayor's Home

Agents were seen taking equipment from two SUVs into the home on Berkeley Avenue around 2:45 a.m.

FBI agents and Trenton Police searched the home of Trenton Mayor Tony Mack early Wednesday.

About a dozen agents arrived at the home on the 800 block of Berkeley Avenue in West Ward around 2 a.m., according to The Trentonian.

Roughly 45 minutes later, they were seen taking equipment from two SUVs into the home.

Sources tell The Trentonian that Mack's children were home at the time of the raid and that the mayor answered the door in his pajamas.

Mack has drawn criticism since he was elected in 2010. A citizens group failed to get enough signatures to force a recall election.

We'll keep you updated with details as they become available.
