Fire Tears Through Home

A fire burned through a Chester County, Pa. home this morning.

Roads around the 600 block of Brecknock Drive (near Route 100 in Exton, Pa.) were closed as crews battled the blaze inside a two-story house.

The fire broke out just before 5:50 a.m. in the garage before spreading to the rest of the structure, according to county dispatchers.

SkyForce10 hovered overhead as heavy flames shot through the roof of the Uwchlan Township home.

Dispatchers said the fire was under control just after 6 a.m. Heavy smoke, however, continued to pour from the home as firefighters doused the flames.

No Injuries were reported.

As of 7 a.m., firefighters appeared to be putting out hot spots at the charred house.

As of early afternoon no cause was given for the blaze.
