Brush Fire Breaks Out in Bethlehem

No one hurt, according to authorities

A brush fire broke out in Bethlehem Tuesday afternoon near Applebutter Road.

There no immediate injuries reported and the cause wasn’t clear but authorities were investigating if a transformer problem could have sparked the blaze, according to Bethlehem Police.

The fire was growing but didn’t pose any immediate threat to nearby homes, cops said.

White smoke could be seen coming from below some high power lines at the scene.
