Police are investigating the death of a man found dead in the Schuylkill River Tuesday morning.
The body of Yong Jin Kim was discovered around 9:45 a.m. around a 1/4 mile up the river from the bridge near Penrose Avenue, police said.
Kim, 41, was visiting Philadelphia from Korea. He stands at 5-foot-4 and weighs 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen on April 12th wearing a gray jacket, black pants and white sneakers.
Investigators don’t suspect foul play in the death.
An autopsy is pending.
