Crews Free Man Caught Under Asphalt Roller

A police chief says crews have been working to free a construction worker who somehow became pinned under and asphalt steam roller truck in Pennsylvania.

WTAE-TV reports doctors from Forbes Regional Medical Center went to the scene to treat and perhaps help free the man who became pinned late Friday morning in Monroeville. That's about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Monroeville police Chief Steven Pascarella tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the man was operating the vehicle when he lost control of it and it rolled onto him. Police described it as an asphalt steam roller truck.

Police weren't immediately releasing details on the man or his condition.
