About 800 ballplayers aged 5 to 15 from Wrentham, Mass., played 101 innings in a row, beginning at 8:01 a.m. Saturday morning and wrapping up at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
The final score for the 36-hour game was 348-339.
"What started out as a quest to break this record has become the most unique community event that I've ever been a part of," said T-ball coach Jim Lucas, who organized the game.
The epic matchup was played at a local community center and turned into a fundraising events for local charities like the March of Dimes and the Wrentham Food Bank.
The longest game on record before this weekend was 32 hours, 29 minutes.
