“Huh, huh, I Just Emitted Methane”

Beavis and Butt-Head creator takes on environmentalists

The man behind "Beavis and Butt-Head" is taking aim at the green crowd.

Director Mike Judge's new animated TV series, "The Goode Family," will poke fun at middle class environmentalists, centering on a vegetarian household where the dog is named Che and the motto is "What would Al Gore Do?" Judge, who also created "King of the Hill," also directed the  feature film "Office Space."

The show, which debuts on ABC next week at 9 p.m., portrays its main characters as more interested in environmentalism as a means of keeping up with the neighbors than saving the planet, according to The Wall Street Journal. The family drives a hybrid, and when the matriarch accidentally buys two-ply toilet paper, for instance, Mr. Goode feels compelled to separate it.
