    • The Supreme Court ordered a federal appeals court to rethink its ruling in favor of CBS for Janet Jackson's Super Bowl halftime show wardrobe malfunction. The nine-sixteenths seconds of live air time that showed Jackson's breast was considered "fleeting" and therefore not eligible for a fine. But with the ruling last week that the FCC should fine networks for any amount of indecency on live TV, the case has been reopened.
       
    • The imprint of Virgin Mary appeared miraculously on a griddle in a California restaurant, locals claim. A cook at Las Palmas restaurant first spotted the heavenly image and began to cry. The griddle was then removed from the stove and has been displayed in a room where people have been leaving rosaries and flowers.
       
    • Roughly a year after the May 12 earthquake in China killed an estimated 70,000, there has been a baby boom in the rural region decimated by the disaster. More than 10 percent of new moms in one hospital had children who died in the quake.
       
    •  A tsunami may have crashed on the shores of what is now New York City about 2,300 years ago, scientists claim. Though it could have been a significant storm system that created a violent force in the area, new evidence points toward a rare giant wave that distributed marine fossils throughout the area.
