Great news for workers in the area (and bad news for their bosses), Jose Garces' new Peruvian-Cantonese Chifa will start serving lunch on Monday. As if spring wasn't enough of a temptation to flee the premises at midday.
Chifa is making lunch a viable option for those with all the time in the world, and those with no time at all. But the best part is that no matter what your time allowance, you won't have to break open your piggy bank to dine here. Slackers who like to pad their lunch hour can order the $25 tasting menu. For the rest of the worker bees who can't escape their clock-watching boss, there's the Hiram Binham Express lunch, which includes two courses and a non-alcoholic beverage for $18 (your liquid lunch will cost you extra). In addition, all of Chifa's menu items (ranging from $7 to $15) will be available a la carte.
Unchain yourself from your desk and enjoy!
