Kings of Leon Cancels 2 NJ Concerts

The popular rock band canceled the remainder of their US tour.

Vocal problems and exhaustion has forced Kings of Leon to cancel the remainder of their United States tour -- including two New Jersey stops.

On Monday, the band announced cancellation of their remaining shows in the States this summer.

Kings of Leon was scheduled to play at Camden’s Susquehanna Bank Center on Friday, July 12, and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Wednesday, August 17. Neither appearance will be rescheduled.

In a statement, the band blamed the health of their lead singer Caleb Followill. They say he is suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.

“The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band's international tour schedule,” Live Nation announced said in their press release on Monday.

If you are a ticket holder, refunds will be offered at the point of purchase only. All Internet and telephone orders will automatically be cancelled and refunded.

The band is expected to resume their tour on September 28 in Vancouver.
