Top 6 Trends at K.O.P. Neiman Marcus

The racks at King of Prussia's Neiman Marcus are filled to capacity with fall arrivals, and new shipments are arriving on a weekly basis. Colleen Sewell, Department Manager, Contemporary and Designer II at the K.O.P. Neiman Marcus, leads us through the key fall trends positioned front-and-center at the swanky department store:

- Colored Denim: No surprise here -- The Feast has heard similar claims from stores like Denim Habit and Charlie's Jeans. "Denim in a variety of jewel tones is the hottest commodity for fall," Sewell tells The Feast.
- Flared Bottoms: Give those skinny jeans a rest and try out a flared silhouette. Neiman Marcus recommends DL1961's Joy High Rise Flare ($168), which will be available at the K.O.P. store on September 15. (Boot cuts and slim legs are already in stock.)
- Color-Blocking: Sewell informs us that this trend is prevalent among all vendors, from Vince and Theory to DKNY and DVF. You'll see color-blocking in handbags, dresses, coats, and shoes.
- Fur: "[This trend is] magnificent this season with everything from vests and coats to fur mufflers," says Sewell. "The color selection is fabulous." Opt for an animal-friendly faux fur accessory in rich colors like navy, sapphire blue, blood red, and plum.
- Lady Chic: Even Banana Republic has capitalized off this trend with its newly-unveiled Mad Men collection. Celebrate the female form with prim and proper dresses, coats, and pumps, plus tailored pencil skirts and blazers.
- Cashmere: A perennial fall must-have, Neiman's collection of cashmere ranges from classic cable cardigans to sweaters with a fur trim. "They were carefully selected and it shows," says Sewell.
