These Clowns Ain't Funny

The courtyard at The Ellen Powell Tiberino Memorial Museum is making the transformation from artful garden to freak show every second Friday starting on Friday, May 8 through October.

Sure, there will still be art exhibits and murals, but add a perverted puppet peep show, burlesque and some psycho sci-fi music.

That's not all, Hydrogen Jukebox is bringing Carnivolution 2009 to Philadelphia and they're bringing with them the Squidling Bros. Circus Sideshow featuring sword swallowing clowns, freaks that feel no pain, a bed of nails and lots of other crazy s*&^ that will make your head spin (and most likely your stomach turn).

Come in costume and get in for five bucks, come as yourself and not only will you be boring, you'll pay eight. The show starts at 6 p.m.

It's perverted, painful and a little sick...so go!
