Full Name: Elise Thuy-Hang Danh
Elise graduated with a License in Cosmetology from Empire Beauty School in Reading, Pa. in 1997. She got her license in Esthetics from Jean Madeline Education Center, an Aveda Concepts school, in Philadelphia in 1998.
She has worked as an esthetician in a few different day spas including Skin Deep and Ambiance Salon in Media, Pa., Salon on 4th as a nail technician/make-up artist in Phila., Pa., and at Lords and Ladies Salon as a lead nail technician/esthetician in Douglassville, Pa.
She has freelanced in bridal and special occasion make-up since 1996 and has been a regional trainer for a major cosmetics company educating employees and major department counters on trends and techniques.
Elise has volunteered herself to help with the Look Good, Feel Better foundation that is part of the American Cancer Society, which helps cancer survivors gain back their self-esteem through make-up instruction after chemotherapy.
Elise describes herself as a human guinea pig. She says she is always trying new products so that she can deliver a true testimonial to her clients.
She practices what she preaches. She wears what she recommends.
She has spent a lot of her teenage years making over her friends at slumber parties and teaching them how to put their make-up on.
“I always admired great beauties like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. They were so timeless and classic,” Elise says.
Elise offers a full range of make-up services. Her logo is "db," which stands for Dahn Beauty.
She works part-time at Sephora located in the King of Prussia mall.
