-One of the world's richest woman, Oprah Winfrey, is cutting ties with ABC after 15 years and heading in a new direction as her production company, Harpo, inks a three-year deal with HBO to make movies, documentaries and a TV series.

-Madonna and Guy Ritchie have issued a joint statement claiming that the details of their divorce settlement as previously released by Liz Rosenberg (Madonna's PR rep) to the Associated Press are false.

"We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest.

A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week.

The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.

Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children."

-Looks like the press got it wrong AGAIN. Katy Perry took to her official blog to squash rumors that her and her boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes member, Travis McCoy are engaged. Apparently, they are NOT.

-EWE, ewe, ewe! Pete Wentz TOTALLY spilled the beans on really intimate details of his sex life (among other things) with his wife on the "Howard Stern Show" this week. Hey Pete, there is a such things as too much information. Keep it to yourself. Please.

-Barack Obama was named Time's Person of the Year this morning on the Today Show. Way to go Mr. (almost) President!
