The Daily Dirt-March 3

David Beckham is so rich and so determined to stay in Italy and play for AC Milan, that he is willing to pay the LA Galaxy so that he can finish out the Italian Soccer season. With this "buyout" Beckham will return to LA in July for the remainder of the MLS season before he heads back to Italy at the beginning of AC Milan's season in November. His contract with the Galaxy is $6.5 million a year and although the financial details have not yet been hammered out, it is said that more than $15 million will be spent, some of which will be paid by AC Milan. The deal should be finalized by the end of the week.

Sharon Osbourne is being sued by Megan Hauserman. Don't know who she is? Oh, she's just one of those really classy chicks from VH1's "Rock of Love." More recently, she was on "Charm School" (where Sharon is a host/judge). The two got into an altercation after Hauserman told Osbourne she's only famous because she managed a brain dead rock star. Needless to say Sharon went crazy; punching, grabbing and scratching (rightfully so if you ask me). She's being sued for negligence, battery and emotional distress.

NYC's Mayor Michael Bloomberg will be renaming West 53rd Street in Times Square in honor of U2 today. From now on, the street will be known as U2 Way. Sweet!
