A preliminary hearing will be held Wednesday for 19-year-old Zachary Smith.
Smith is charged with the murder of his cousin, 15-year-old Kasey Chambers.
Chambers, Smith and two others were in a car in Southwest Philadelphia last week when a gun went off, police said.
A 38-caliber revolver was found a short distance from the crime scene.
