There's nothing like a good meal at a fancy restaurant but sometimes the whole dining experience takes way too much effort, especially at the end of a long day. To accommodate lethargic, hungry patrons who are looking for something a little less high-brow, upper crust fave Barclay Prime has introduced a new menu in its pub and lounge area.
Those who can't seem to peel themselves off of those big, comfy chairs (that are perfect for sipping a dirty martini or two) can munch on chef James LoCascio's take on bar food. Dishes include house-made pretzels with Dijon mustard aioli ($9), wings with a spicy orange marmalade ($12), house-made salami served with arugula, pecorino and a grilled baguette ($14), an heirloom beet salad with radishes, blood orange and Maytag blue cheese ($13), clams casino ($15), mussels in white wine ($18), a dry-aged burger with cheddar and tater tots ($19) and steak frites ($29).
With its new pub menu, Barclay Prime just might be our new neighborhood destination where we can just have a drink, some food and chill out. How nice!
