Christian Lander started the Stuff White People Like blog (don’t worry, it’s satire) a year ago, with a goal of poking fun at the likes of affluent, well-educated white North Americans. By the end of September 2008, the site had more than 40 million visitors.
Lander was able to parlay the success of his blog into a book late last year entitled Stuff White People Like: A Definitive Guide to the Unique Taste of Millions. The book has made a number of best-seller lists.
Lander will be discussing his blog and book—and signing copies of the latter—tonight at the University of Pennsylvania Bookstore (3601 Walnut St.) at 7 p.m.
