Spend a Day with Ben at Franklin Square

Come out for some free rides and yummy treats as Benjamin Franklin celebrates Franklin Square’s third birthday on Friday.

Ben wants you to join him for a celebration that is sure to go down in your history books as a day full of fun.

Acting as your tour guide, Mr. Franklin will take kids for a ride on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel and follow that up with some yummy birthday cake shakes at SquareBurger.

SquareBurger the newest restaurant in the Square (it just opened this month). The best thing about this place is that everything is under $5.25, so it won’t put a dent in your wallet.

Franklin Square is located in the heart of Historic Philadelphia and there are a ton of cool things to check out.

For the third year in a row, the Square has sculpted 150-tons of sand into a masterpiece that was inspired by the World Champ Phillies.

The sculpture features the World Series trophy, the Phanatic, bats, hats, balls, gloves, players, jerseys, tickets, a scoreboard and much more.

Franklin Square also has awesome mini-golf, playgrounds, a restored fountain and the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel.

So come out and help Ben Franklin wish Franklin Square a very happy birthday on Friday, July 31 starting at 11 a.m.
