Nov. 23, 1989: Thanksgiving Day - Bounty Bowl I. The Eagles shutout Troy Aikman and his Cowboys in Texas Stadium on national TV. But the win was over-shadowed by allegations that Eagles head coach Buddy Ryan had put a bounty on two Cowboys players--Aikman and former Eagles kicker Luis Zendejas, who left the game after a big hit.

Dec. 10, 1989: Bounty Bowl II. Back in Philly a couple weeks later, the Eagles win again. But this time, the fans stole the show. Snow had piled up in the Vet, and fans started throwing snowballs, ice and beer onto the field. Cowboys Coach Jimmy Johnson, who had to be escorted by Philly Police off the field, later called the fans "thugs."

Dec. 28. 2008: The Eagles beat the odds and trounced so-called “America’s Team” 44-6 in the last week of the season to seal a spot in the playoffs. Both offense and defense were responsible: McNabb was responsible for 3 TD’s and fan favorite Brian Dawkins forced two fumbles that resulted in scores.
